Tempe Creek Ranch is now offering barrel racing practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, weather permitting. This is practice only.
The number of riders per night will be limited to 10 riders so that all riders will have equal opportunity to do practice runs.
Practice runs will be $3.00 per run. At the time of arrival, you must prepay for your runs. A TCR representative will keep a tally of your prepaid runs. We accept cash, check, Venmo or the Cash App. We can accept a credit card; however, 4% will be added to cover our credit card fees.
Riders will be assigned a number at the time of arrival. Riders will be called in numerical order for their run.
The completion of the barrel pattern will count as one (1) practice run whether the rider walks, trots or runs the pattern.
Multiple horses may be brought by the rider. You are not limited to only one (1) horse to practice on.
Proof of a current negative Coggins is required for all horses. Please provide a copy of the Coggins to be kept by Tempe Creek Ranch records. The Coggins only needs to be provided on your first time to barrel practice.
A Tempe Creek Ranch release of liability must be signed.
No other activity will be allowed in the arena during practice runs. The covered arena will be available for warm up.
The arena ground will be maintained during the course of practice runs. No riders or horses will be allowed in the arena during this time.
